ISO 22301:2019 - Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)

The international standard ISO 22301 is the Business Continuity Management System standard which has been developed by ISO to protect businesses from unexpected disruptions due to internal and external factors or influences. Disruptions or downtime to business may result in financial loss, information security risk, damage to business goodwill, loss of customer trust and therefore business continuity is essential for survival and sustainable business.

The ISO 22301 BCM standard is designed to support businesses to install a robust business continuity management system including governance, management, planning, policies and values to safeguard an organization and guide on how best to plan for such eventualities.
